It thought I should kick my blog off with a bang. Something controversial. I know this is something most people feel strongly about. Funny enough, my own opinion is that everyone should just hush up about it and keep their opinions to themselves, but here I am being a hypocrite. This post is bound to piss people off, especially Pro-Lifers and if you are one of those people, please just follow along until the end.
My big issue with abortion is that peoples opinion's shouldn't just be broken down into Pro-Life or Pro-Choice because really, I feel that there are three categories, because the those who are Pro-Choice get a bad rap and Pro-Lifers need a different name. So first, Pro-Lifers really should just be called "Anti-Choice or Anti-Abortion." I've gone to a Catholic school all my life and the way Pro-Lifers see it, even if the mother is going to die for it, she should still have the baby, even if she could abort it and go on and be fine. That's why I really believe they should be called Anti-Choice or Anti-Abortion, because your not Pro-Life if your fine with the mother dying as long as the baby gets to live. Then, I think Pro-Choice should be split into two categories. First, Pro-Choice, which I what I consider myself to be and second, Pro-Abortion. In today's society, if you label yourself Pro-Choice, in the eyes of a Pro-Lifer, you are automatically a baby killer, and trust me, mostly, we aren't. The thing is, is that most of the Pro-Choice people I've met really don't like babies being killed, but like me, they think, it's a women's choice, IT IS HER OWN DAMN BUSINESS. That's why there should be a third group that is Pro-Abortion because there really are people that are like," go ahead, kill the babies, abortion is awesome!"
I hope your still with me, and if you are then that is awesome because I'm now getting to what makes me fit to be tied more than anything about the abortion issue. Pro-Lifers. Y'all need to calm yourselves down. You can go on your march every January and believe that killin' babies is wrong as much as you want, but Roe vs. Wade is not going to change. And really your march in January is a fine thing to do, heck, you can even keep your bumper stickers, but other than that, most people would appreciate it if you would just keep your opinions to yourselves. Especially outside of abortion clinics. Now true, most people just don't want to have a kid for financial reasons or because they don't have a support system, but what about the women that have no choice? There are women sent to abortion clinics everyday because their babies have died or are about to die inside them. But they still get yelled at. Just like all the other women entering that clinic, they are called whores and sinners. Why? Because they did nothing wrong, and the Pro-Lifers standing out side that clinic see nothing but whores and sinners, and don't have the decency to ask why they are there. And that is what makes me fit to be tied with the whole abortion issue. If your going to defend unborn human being, learn how to be decent to the ones that are alive.
